Hello everyone who i miss so much!>
Life is slowly getting better.>
wednesday night we spent the night in bungnaa, an area about an hour away to help sister oneil and witchitra. they had to move houses the day before, and then both got called out of the area! we went so we could help with the house, and then take two taxis in the morning with all their stuff and bikes. then thursday came an awesome surprise. we got sister oneil in our companionship!!! sister oneil is my phii, or the girl that was 6 weeks in front of me in the mtc. she is so awesome, so happy all the time, and so loving. i kindof feel like i have a mom with me in the mornings, she actually comes upstairs every morning and gives me a huge hug and makes me smile all day. her hugs are awesome, it makes it so much better. i am so grateful to Heavenly Father for sending her here. the next 5 more weeks are going to be good, though im sad that thats all i have for this tricompanionship. they are both awesome companions, and i am in an awesome area. i have been really blessed, i am just worried that i have all the best in the beginning! we have been noticing the power of three in so many things!! our theme for this moves is 2 ne 11:3. hah we gave funny little nicknames, like the apostle, but we are sis oneil- peatrice>

wednesday for pday we went to "da mall" which is what the malls are called.. we shopped in a market outside (where i got some cute shirts for 3 american dollars) in the market there was a whole line of tatoo places, like 7 of them, where people can just go and sit and get a tatoo right there. there were a bunch of people i saw getting them. i dont know, but it just made me sad to see how satan is just so good at getting us to mark our temples in so many ways. > >
thursday night as we were riding our bikes home a little early (the office elders had to bring a bunch of furniture to us for the 3some) from teaching some new investigators on the "sidewalk" and my light shined on a huge gray thing in front of me. it was an elephant! my first one ive seen here. two guys were just leading it down the road.. cade, i named it after you, just like i promised:) also, yesterday as we were biking by our house, a HUGE lizard thing went running across the road- i think it is a moniter lizard. FREAKY!!!! i tried to get a picture, but it was gone before i could:( > >
a few days ago we recieved a call from someone that we contacted awhile ago, wanting a picture of christ. as we talked to her, we found she wanted it so that she could pray to it. images are just so important here! we are meeting with her tomorrow, hah weve got a lot to teach. > >
its amazing how the Lord really does direct us. everyday, even when things seem not to be working out, we are always led to the place where we need to be. for example, on sunday we went to try and contact a referral that the elders gave us that we havent been able to find. it was at this green shack that a lady sells fruit in front of. the lady really wasnt interested (probably just in the farang men- the elders- that were talking to her. then we started talking to the lady that lives in the shack and ended up teaching her and a daughter a lesson right there inside her gate on 3 inch high stools on the ground in front of her house, with beer bottles, trash, and cigarette butts everywhere inside and the house made out of metal pieces thrown together and random stairs and levels jutting out, and chickens and smelly dogs walking around. a big family lives there, it was actually a pretty big shack that went way far back. family members kept coming out from all over the place, a few men in their towels, and girls listening from the "window" above us (a space in the metal that has a metal flap that can be opened). the lesson was good and we are coming back next sunday! i hope that this goes somewhere, and that we can help this family with the amazing message that we have to share. i hope this is the family that we have been praying for. > >
the people here are so kind. the members are always so willing to help us, and are always feeding us and giving us food. when we go to teach people, sometimes they give us fruit to take home or food that they sell (when we teach at markets) when we know that they have nothing. it is actually really hard for me to accept it, but i have to knowing itis how they show love. yesterday we were teching a taxi driver and at the end he told us that it was for free. he wouldnt let us pay, saying thank you for teaching him about our church. then later we were walking at a market getting dinner and one of our english students from wed nights came up and gave us a bag full of apples. i am grateful i am in a place where the people are so kind. > >

mom, i gave sis hulme and Phii buuk thefaith neclaces. sister hulme was so excited, she loves it! she was really touched. when i gave buuk hers, she was almost in tears. she said that she had never gotten any kind of gift like that before. ok ive got to send this. love you, i miss you more than i can explain!!!>
