jordan 6.24.09

Ok well another week down. The Dutch is coming but really slow. 2 days ago we contacted a volunteer investigator. I had to by myself pick him up fom his house, ride the fake bus. and while on the bus ask him about the BoM. what he thought of it and testify about it. All in dutch. It was hard! yesterday i memorized the whole first vision in dutch also. it took me a couple of days. So i have a girl in my companionship. its hard if there was ever a definition of ball and chain it would be her. Tonight they are pretty much shutting half the mtc down. all the mission presidents are coming through. and the dont want them to interact with anyone because of the swine flu. So i wnt get to meet my new mission pres. oh well.
i got kindof a little homesick for the first time on Sunday. I think it was because of fathers day. the first presidency is coming in on friday for a devotional. thats part of the reason they are shutting this place down for the next 4 days. And prez mons is going to be here on sunday. i dont think we will get to see him though. Chandler whats up doggy? i hear you are turning the basement into your own personal evil layer. Ive been thinkin... i think it would be rad if you got your patriaricle (cant spell that) blessing.I got it at your age. its pretty rad. Just do it man. thanks for all the letters and packages this week from every one. thanks so much. thanks momma!thanks for the suit. if i grow any more i think i might have to make them bigger. taryn is doing great. she is awesome. i see her for about 5 minutes after every meal.
i hope bostons surgery goes well, im praying for him. i havnt gained any weight in here yet. i fluctuate round 2 pounds every other day. well the mtc record for pull ups is 35. weak. consider it broken. chandler and morgan, you better start practicing your pull ups now to be able to even think about beating me. Im going to start a new record for one arm pull ups Haa.
back to the studying, we have been learing alot of past tense stuff congjugating verbs and all kinds of stuff i have never payed any attention to. A lot of grammar stuff to. thats pretty much my life. i go to sleep with duch words flying through my head that i dont even know what they mean.and the same thing when i wake up. three times a week we have a engals fast (english fast) where we try to speak in dutch all day. its hard. especially when i dont know much in dutch. ok well i miss you all. and love you all. tot ziens!
